A good digital camera to replace my Canon Powershot A620 with time lapse?

I currently own a Canon Powershot A620 and I LOVE it. Swivel screen, 7.1mp. But, I am looking for a replacement camera with time lapse option as well as a better night mode. Any suggestions?

    I have a Canon SD750IS (Elph) which seems to do well in both of those areas.
